DESCRIPTION:Radio Bristol Presents\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Farm & Fun Time featuring the Dan Tyminski Band\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Thu\, January 30\, 2025\n \n \n \n \n \n Doors: 6:00 pm / Show: 7:00 pm\n \n \n \n \n \n $50.04 - $95.50 (prices include all applicable fees and taxes) / Members and 1927 society members save at least $5.\n \n BUY TICKETS\n \n \n \n \n \n Paramount Bristol hosts and The Birthplace of Country Music is proud to present a very special filming of Radio Bristol’s Farm and Fun Time live from the Paramount Bristol stage. This live broadcast features Dan Tyminski Band\, Zach Russell\, and Kris Truelsen and the Farm and Fun Time house band. \nDan Tyminski Band\n \nThroughout his 30+ year career\, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. Tyminski’s voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley Brothers’ Classic song\, “I’m A Man of Constant Sorrow\,” in the film\, Oh Brother\, Where Art Thou and his vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey\, Brother” was a global smash\, having been streamed over 1 billion times to date. Dan has also contributed guitar and/or harmony to projects by Martina McBride\, Reba McEntire\, Brad Paisley\, Dolly Parton\, Willie Nelson\, Kenny Chesney\, LeAnn Rimes\, Aaron Lewis and Rob Thomas\, to name a few. In addition to his highly successful solo career\, Dan Tyminski has played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss and Union Station since 1994. His unmatched instrumental skills and burnished\, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band. \nZach Russell \nFor decades now\, musicians and songwriters have flocked to Nashville\, Tennessee\, in hopes of starting or fortifying their careers in the music industry. Zach Russell\, who\, subconsciously or not\, bucks a number of trends in today’s music world\, found the opposite to be true. It wasn’t until moving away from Music City U.S.A. that Russell inked his first record deal with tenacious indie label Thirty Tigers. \nFor seven years in Nashville\, Russell studied how fellow writers and performers were approaching their craft\, even spending a stint on the road as Tyler Childers’ merchandise manager. Getting a firsthand look at precisely what it takes to chase down greatness\, Russell believed he could achieve it as well. But ultimately\, taking a breather from Nashville brought clarity—and lots of songs—to the East Tennessee-based artist\, and got the ball rolling on what would become Russell’s debut full-length album\, Where The Flowers Meet The Dew\, out now! \n  \nKris Truelsen and the Farm & Fun Time House Band\nKris Truelsen has spent the better part of the last two decades touring across the US\, honing his craft as a songwriter and performer. With his latest project fronting the Farm and Fun Time House Band\, he leans into the rock n’ roll side of country music. It’s rowdy\, loose and unmistakably Kris. The band features an all star lineup including Nick Lawrence (guitar)\, Rebecca Branson Jones (pedal steel)\, Sarah Griffin (bass)\, and Levi Trent (drums). \n  \nDoors open at 6 pm. Our Box Office opens 2 hours before showtime. For shows not already sold out\, tickets will be available at the door on the day of show for an additional cost of $5 (+tax and service fee). BUYER BEWARE! Third party tickets (StubHub\, eTix\, VividSeats\, etc.) will NOT be honored. Tickets are available via paramountbristol.org or our Box Office ONLY.  All sales are final.
