1931 CAMPAIGN

For more than 90 years, Paramount Bristol has been a local landmark and cultural anchor of the twin cities of Bristol TN/VA. As a non-profit organization, The Paramount Foundation relies on corporate sponsors and contributing members to keep our historic showplace lit up all year round with the high stadards of live entertainment you have come to expect.

To help us celebrate Paramount’s 93rd anniversary, please consider making a suggested donation of $19.31 to honor the theater’s rich history. On February 20, 1931, The Paramount officially opened its doors with a showing of “It Pays to Advertise”, a romantic comedy starring Carole Lombard and Norman Foster. It was a tremendous success and the enormous crowd blocked traffic for five blocks!

If you agree that The Paramount makes Bristol and our region a great place to live, please give generously so we can keep it as the shining star of downtown Bristol. After all, it’s YOUR Paramount!

Your tax-deductible donation will sustain our historic theater so when the time is right, we can reopen without missing a beat!

*Membership will begin, or be extended, for one year from the date of the first show after reopening.

**Admission to this event is by donation only, and not refundable.

To ask about making a challenge grant, or any other inquiries, contact us at info@paramountbristol.org or by phone at (423) 274-8920.
